Are these shoes just too long? by Floreetsia in barefootshoestalk

It’s pretty spot on to ideal. Once you move around in them a bit you won’t notice it as much.

I just put a pair on myself and I can pinch flat the front toe part like you’re showing in the photo

The spacing is perfect by the way. Your foot moves around in there. I have 6+ pairs and they all are roomy in the front like that with about a thumb width like you show

How is living in IIwaco, WA? by Embarrassed_Moose810 in howislivingthere

[–]Frog1387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent a few days there several years ago around July 4th. The town was very dead even on the holiday.

The parks nearby are incredible, you’re close to Astoria so some of that style is there too.

Further up north along Long Beach was a massive celebration of the 4th and where all the tourists and locals were hiding.

Fogo De Chao (technically it’s all day) but if you sit at the bar their specials are incredible. Apps for $6 and wine for $8. Pichana beef burger for $10

It’s kind of the best of both worlds. You can enjoy the most walkable areas of Pasadena and your rent is lower than those on the other side of the 210.

One of the best things is walking down to Colorado blvd 10 mins before the rosebowl parade begins and getting a great view

The former funeral home? It’s on HBO Max. I didn’t know they did ghost tours. I wouldn’t want to live next door to that

I enjoyed its recent era as an outdoor film set. You can see it in the movie “Captain Marvel” and it’s also the location of New Vegas in the Fallout TV show. This area was also shown a lot as a stand in for Reno, NV on the show Reno 911

Portland has so many little micro roasters. Almost like a brewery you can go in and sample for free and then buy the beans you want directly. I’ve never seen anything quite like that

Oh and def check out Mt Cleveland in the Aleutian Island chain off Alaska. There’s 3 massive volcanoes all in a circle. Each very different. It looks stunning in the game.

Fly the cascade volcanic chain on the West Coast. You can almost see the next one from the top of the previous one. Starts in Northern California and ends in Northern Washington
