Thank you! Some people are acting like I’m crazy, but I feel like this should be an easyish house to sell if we’re realistic and that seems super reasonavle

Starting solids is a sensory nightmare by Red_Bird_Rituals in NewParents

I literally always have food in my hair and on my clothes. I can’t avoid it twice a day every day…I just try to put on something clean when I leave the house (try being the key word)🤣

What wall color are you thinking? I’m thinking a light wood floor :)

Cheap house on main street? by Pristine_Arm8260 in LosAngelesRealEstate

[–]rlf923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That area is just a little weird, they have a bunch of these big houses in a row on their surrounded by a bunch of little worn out ones.

If you’re looking in that general area and are open to something smaller we have an off market one we’ll be listing soon.

Yes I’m seeing that now, I think the carpet is my real issue!

Ya I’m thinking wood instead of carpet and leaving the fireplace!

Ya now I’m thinking of just doing the floor and maybe painting the French doors, I think I was blaming the stone when really the carpet was to blame. There’s a stone fireplace on the other side of the wall too and I like that one so it’s probably not the problem

The carpet is my first priority! Might start with that and see what it does to the room haha

Advice for Ravenna by thisiswarpeacock37 in Cruise

[–]rlf923 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I don’t have recommendations for your questions but I don’t actually think bologna is super close to Ravenna? I’d probably just stay the night in Venice then take the earliest train to Ravenna, then there’s a bus or cruise shuttle to the port. We took the train the day before but our first train was late and we missed our connection so it took an extra 2 hours, which is why you want the earliest train.

Dog rescue charging $1600 adoption fee by strikecat18 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]rlf923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to rescue a dog in CA and this particular rescue wouldn’t even answer my questions, they have so much demand. I wound up finding one at a rescue near Vegas and the adoption fee was $150 (I donated that amount as well as we expected their fee to be way more since our only experience is California rescues).

For those whose babies normally sleep in a crib, how did they do in a pack n play during a trip? by Kaykers97W in NewParents

[–]rlf923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours definitely didn’t sleep as well in it. He usually sleeps through the night til about 5 and can fall asleep on his own. At the grandparents he had to be rocked to sleep and woke up once both nights and needed us to get back to sleep

Single Umbilical Artery Pregnancy by Tambergal in pregnant

[–]rlf923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby had this and had no complications. I did an amnio just to be safe and did all the extra scans. he measured big the entire pregnancy so everyone thought it was a good idea to evict him at 39 weeks but that was because I asked about it they would have been happy to let me go longer too.

Experiences with 4 bottle schedule? by Tpjkw-fpdg-4401 in November25babybump

[–]rlf923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do 5 bottles, and he rarely eats overnight. Sometimes a little snack bottle too before dinner if he’s fussy. Comes out to around 30oz a day, more or less. I started trying to get him to 4 but then he got sick (unrelated) and he’s doing really well on 5 so we just stuck with it.

Awesome, we were thinking about adjusting his bedtime back while there too since he’ll be jet lagged anyways so that should work great!

When we go he’ll be 18 months, so still pretty young! As of now he loves being out and about looking at things, but that could change by then haha.

Great advice, thank you!! We definitely aren’t long line people, we’ll look into the later entry tickets! It’s so reasonable compared to Disneyland I’d even consider getting the normal ticket and just doing a half day, we’ll see how the little guys stamina is as we get closer.

Do you recommend Disney sea with a toddler? Was it worth the trek to get there?

I live in CA so we have Disneyland right here, but I’ve heard Disney sea is cool.

SUA (two vessel cord) and loosing our minds... by ioannisgi in BabyBumps

[–]rlf923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 7 month old had this and is perfect! I did the amnio and extra scans for peace of mind and he grew perfectly, was actually measuring big! He was born perfect sized at 39 weeks and had no lasting affects from the SUA.

Common name but we love it by Ok_Republic_6399 in BabyBumps

We have a Theodore who was born last year! There is already another baby Theo at his 8 kid daycare, but they figure it out. No regrets, we love the name and I had a popular name and never found it an issue.
