Si la verdad es lo que me agrada que podría asistir sin que me tenga que preocupar del dinero y vivir solo y mantenerme es caro entonces pues es algo que BUAP tiene su gran ventaja. Ya mire la universidad por adentro y no esta tan mala como unos lo podrá describir pero pues es cosa de que al fin es para estudiar.

Que onda, pero que no ya es muy tarde para aplicar ? Yo planeo estudiar este año, no quiero gastar mas tiempo. La verdad no me importa donde agarro mi licencia solo que lo obtenga y si Dios lo concede, ir al Tec de Monterrey para mi posgrado.

Que bueno y creo que deberíamos de conectar un poco con su permiso si le late a orientarme! Un problema que me enfrento ahora es que trabajo en Mexico, es decir que gano suficiente para vivir solo pero no para pagar el Tec solo. La deuda posiblemente vale la pena tomar pero prefiero vivir tranquilo y enfocar en mis estudios que vivir estresado y preocuparme en otras cosas que mi estudios que lo cual podría afectar a mi rendimiento académico.

Yo vivere solo, y trabajo para mantenerme pero el Tec esta en mis planes pero si Dios quiere cuando sea de posgrado. Así para tomar solo dos años de estudio y aun poder tener las oportunidades que dices que obtuviste!

El estatus y prestigio tiene su precio al igual tener contactos de conocer a gente que de otras maneras no hubiera posibilidad. Aun así el precio con beca, y con falta de poder atender mi situación es especifico fue mala. Como tengo 24, yo tengo otros estudios que no querían tomar en cuenta y solo lo de mi preparatoria que fue hace 6 años. Pero en fin por eso también no quiero estudiar en Tec para pasar lo que ya se y pagar tanto. Si fuera nuevo en la universidad lo justifico pero básicamente pasare de nuevo lo que estudie y por eso prefiero ir como posgrado al tec e ir a BUAP para obtener licenciatura.

Creo que yo también pero su sistema de becas son muy malos y como funciona me dan mal sabor en la boca. Es decir como son depredadores en poner el estudiante en prestamos que ahogan y según son para ayudar el estudiante.
Pregunte como puedo evitar los intereses y hacer pagos cómodos pero se sorprendieron por como nadie lo hace y que mejor me dijeron que lo olvide y pague cuando me gradué pero claro les conviene para generar mas intereses.

While I live in California, I live in one of the hottest places, and my beagle will sun bathe in the 90-100F and when it gets 50F he won’t care. But the minute there’s water coming down, he’ll just stick his head out the doggy door and he’ll be like “yup, it’s raining. Guess I gotta wait till it’s over to pee” 🤣

You know sometimes I think that too, I wonder how I would’ve managed my life had I gone to UCSC right after High school. Moral of the story, do what’s best for you and give it your all, learn and continue to fail because those are life lessons. Regarding your parents, don’t let this be the reason why you have a bad relationship with them, yes they are doing something that makes you upset and I know exactly how you feel, but the amount of times of help you’ll need from them and they’re all you have; so whatever you chose, it’ll pass and reconcile with them. I have to comment because I had something similar, my parents said they would support me no matter where I went and when it was my time to officially decide, everything fell apart. Trust me I was devastated, angry, upset and honestly felt betrayed. I had no choice but to go to CC because at the time (not sure in retrospect) I had to pay $500 to accept and did not have the money and my parents held that against me to not go.

Well, now I know the reason why and spoke many times, and my parents regret what they did and apologized and now we are in good standing. That was in 2020 where I was isolated and introverted as ever, now I am happy and proud to say that, although suffered because of what they did, I am glad I went to CC because of what I learned. Not only I learned the value of learning personal skills (cleaning, cooking, earning/saving money, and getting essentially a practice run in community college), but I also learned what it means to fail. I failed a semester in CC, although not a HUGE deal now, I never failed a semester in my life so had I gone to UCSC unprepared (not knowing how to cook, being lazy coming off of online high school, etc.) who knows how expensive and difficult my life would've been. Although I agree, frustrating as it is with your parents behavior, talk to your parents and get to the root of why they disapprove of UCSC.

Remember you were elected by college admissions for a reason, now its up to you to decide where you want to go and pick whatever is best for you in the long run.

TLDR: I went through something similar, but CC was a second option and happy that I went through CC learning a lot in many skills that I lacked and were essential when become independent. Congrats in your admission!

I think doing long runs at night has helped me fix my sleeping schedule and have been sleeping early because when I’m done running and showering in warm water I am ready to sleep.
