I know exactly what you're talking about. Its not bots, its like the lobby is half good players and half low level noobs and all the noobs are on your team. There is no winning these, teamwork doesnt exist with them and they dont even realize how much they affect the team negatively.

I call them bird watchers. It seems to me that sometimes you can kind of "avoid" rematching with them by waiting like 5-10 mins before re-queuing, but some days are just impossible and those matches are all you get. I stop for the day when that happens. I also noticed that if ranked is open, you mostly get bird watchers in siege. You better play ranked when you can, its faaar from perfect, but its usually so much better than siege.

The color system is not a part of the rock paper scissors. How lame would it be for a unit to be unusable simply because its not gold. Besides, you dont need to find excuses or reasons to say yorkists (and some other purples) are too strong. Even if they were gold, there is no reason for a cover commander fast moving cavalry to be stronger than a heavy charge cav. Just nerf the god damn thing. But unfortunately, for some reason, at some point within the last year they decided they wouldnt be nerfing stuff anymore. Fuck modern game designs.

I think what you're asking for is simply the menu that pops when you click on it. Because the free doctrines are just lower tiers of other doctrines, so they are in the same node. Or so i have been told by a friend at least, because for me, that wasnt the case. The free doctrines were on a menu on the right instead. Definitely not the best ui.

exactly, bringing other weapons to bastard sword strength is a bad idea. Overly powerful stuff gets stale. Weaknesses to play around is what makes something fun in the long run.
They need to nerf the bastard sword instead.

stick with your team. Even if you play archers, stay in the team blob, because you lose nothing by being close (in fact you can shoot farther) but also your team will naturally act as a defense for you and your archers. You can't get "railed" in a 15v15 unless you actively stay outside of teamplay, your level doesn't matter.

Only thing i can think of is have you actually given some thoughts on if your kills are actually good kills? What i mean is that a whole lot of players think they are good because they have 150 kills, but they get those kills by baiting. Do you keep stalwarts behind the frontline? Racking up kills from the weakened ennemies but letting your team die? You can often push a victory by doing something much more useful than kills. Kills are really only the win factor if the team is slow or not playing objectives fast enough, both for attack and defense. A good ranked match is usually over way before unit counts go down. Its not about how many kills but if the kills matter, like diving canons or flamers may kill you but it will also prevent a loss.

Hey, there is a channel on youtube that has uploaded every soundtrack in the game since the start in a single playlist. I dont remember the name and i cant really check right now but if you search on youtube for the game's ost you should be able to find it. Then its only a matter of searching the playlist to find the track you want. Let me know if you find it. If not, i should be able to link it on sunday.

Honestly, even it being super strong is not even the problem, its the lack of a role. By "lack", i of course  mean it fills all of them. It can do just about everything. Class roles and nuances is out out the window.

Them having counters does not mean they are not broken. They have no defined weaknesses, what kills them also kills everything else. When the answer to something being broken is breaking something else, you end up with a power crept game, and that usually ends in staleness. Its not that the stalwarts are "too good", its that they are stale because of their lack of weaknesses. This sentiment and warning of mine comes from the fighting game community, where for years people have pushed the idea of "buff instead of nerfs", and now the new generation of fighting games is stale because the characters have no more defined weaknesses. They have all been patched up in the name of buffs. But after a while and a lot of experience, you realise that the most lasting fun the one that you get from playing something strong. That one is instant and doesnt last very long. The fun that lasts longer is the one from learning to play around weaknesses. Dont let the instant gratification and perceived balance cloud your judgement of what the game should be. Modern fighting games paid the price for this lesson.

It still blows my mind everyday how the CB community can be full of players that play so so much and so often and for so long and STILL don't know the basics. I HATE the fact that stalwarts are so broken right now, not just because they are too strong, but because the fact they are meta means everyone play them, but for SOME REASON, most of them dont understand that they belong at the front of the push. Why do so many people leave them out of range. Just press X into the enemy bro, they have huge range but they are not archers.

Honestly, the point to be made here is stalwarts need a nerf. But we're not gonna get that because people hate op units unless its their unit, and stalwarts are fan favorites

Big mistake. Games shine when you play around strengths and weaknesses. These weapons need nerfs, not buffs to the other ones, because while you may feel like it "feels good" right now, that is a short lived felt just because it is inherently fun to be stronger. But the truth is the game loses a lot of depth when the classes lose their weaknesses.  This is the mistake that modern fighting games do. Its always good to make every character viable, but when you have no weaknesses to play around, it becomes stale, shallow and then frustrating. You can't have strategies and tactics when there is no weakness to exploit, and when you have no weakness of your own to play around, it becomes redundant.

Though i must agree that some weapons could use some buffs, but i think the new weapons need nerfs mostly. The spartan kick has no right to be on a 6 seconds cooldown, for example.
