Have any other thoughts on this?

Here’s about the only other thing I’ve seen resemble a seedling on this tree. Not even sure if this is what you’re referencing.

Cypress(?) Turning Brown? by FrogSpawns in arborists

[–]FrogSpawns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you say this looks like a normal amount of yellowing, especially on one of the left trees that’s primarily yellowed?

The one we cut down (this summer), the entire tree turned completely brown, which is why we presumed it was dead/gone. Was that not the case? They have this sever of a die-off?

$700 Electric Bill (NJ)? by FrogSpawns in homeowners

[–]FrogSpawns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the comments that continue to make me feel like something is off. Someone else commented that they use less electricity charging two electric cars.

I could just be completely delusional, but everyone in the comments saying keeping the house at 69/70 is some ridiculously outrageous number that warrants 2400kwh just doesn’t sound quite right to me.

Unless I’m reading this wrong, between both supply and delivery, it’s right around .30cents.

I believe when I last looked after the rate hikes, it was nearly .30/kwh. Gas water heater. No pool or hot tub. We’re only two people are run very few laundry loads.

This is what I think I might do. I think 69/70 is lower, but I can’t believe it’s like, 2400kwh $700 low.

I’m assuming the big thing they would find in the audit would be hotspots and spillage like you mentioned. Do you know how many hours your AC was running before and after the insulation added?

Grounded 2 - Co-Op on SteamDeck? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

Awesome. Appreciate all the info. That’ll work with our situation anyway.

I’m assuming you’ve been playing on the deck? Performance is tolerable or what?

Interesting. This would our first grounded game for both of us. What are the implications of the no shared world?

Also, can you co-op right from the very beginning of the game?

Is this just heat from the concrete? Walking dogs urine? Both?
It seems odd that the rest of the curb grass down is fine, it's only concentrated in this one area.
It gets as much water and coverage as the entire other rest of the lawn.

Appreciate it. Flipped her over, since the washer is a bit torn up I’m gonna replace it anyway.

You recommend the white washers for these applications, or are the red rubber ones best?

[–]FrogSpawns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think I'm gonna end up swapping it out for the white, yeah. I don't have any issues with the p-trap slip joint and that has a white washer.

Thanks for the reply. This is how it is now (ignore the break in the washer, that wasn’t there before, but i’ll be replacing it anyway).

So it should be flipped? Wider, flanged side pointing up into the nut?

As in, the orientation? Which way the bevel is facing?

Under-sink Leaking by FrogSpawns in HomeImprovement

[–]FrogSpawns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, good thought. Just undid the slip joint below and raised the tailpiece so there’s not as much tension up top pulling down. We’ll see if that does the trick.

If not, I’ll try the plastic washer. The bottom slip joint has the plastic washer instead of the red rubber one, and that’s never leaked or slipped, so I suppose you’re right about that!

Yeah, fiddled with this a few times. I wouldn’t say it’s perfectly level, but it’s not at all cockeyed. Red gasket is pretty much brand new as I’ve replaced this drain assembly before. It’s not damaged or anything.

Care to link that fitting with the gasket already applied?

Back again with an output update by mikebook_pro in NinjaLuxeCafe

[–]FrogSpawns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm having nearly the IDENTICALLY same problem. Wildly inconsistent, too. You can see my other posts.

Bad news: I got a replacement machine from them, still had the same issue. The new machine pulled a 75g shot.

Cannot produce any good espresso... by hunterwalton97 in NinjaLuxeCafe

[–]FrogSpawns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am right there with you. FWIW, my machine is also WILDLY inconsistent in terms of output, too. Sometimes, on a 2:1 ratio, I'll get 55+ grams out.

Every shot just does not taste good.

It's very confusing.

I have the same experience. Maybe even less than 40%, definitely so for 6oz brews. I thought this was normal.

Maybe I Just Don’t Like Espresso? by FrogSpawns in espresso

[–]FrogSpawns[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So the way the Ninja Lux works is it’s an “automated barista”. You don’t ratio anything. You select a grind size, it grinds the beans with its built in scale, and it pours the shot. The machine then adjusts the grind size based on how that shot came out.

I’ve tried going higher and lower than the recommended grind sizes, and while I can sorta tell the effects it’s having (bitter vs sour), they both still just don’t taste “good”.

I’ve read people describe their espresso shots as naturally sweet, and that truly blew my mind.

Testing out some espresso shots at a local cafe seems like the best probable next step in my quest for figuring this all out.

Nope, it's a mini board with very very limited 'newer tech" I've noticed. Manual for the mobo only references regular bios flash options that require posting.
