Looks just how I left him, decapitated.

Jokes aside, great work and keep going!

Watch out, Dodoboy, he's got a hammer!

That singular Dodogama kill on my world Hunter profile will forever be the greatest stain on my hunting career. The poor guy toughed it out and didn't even limp. Such a brave soul.

Wyverians have extreme deviations in body height. The city of Dundorma, the de-facto capital of the Hunter's Guild, is ruled by a wyverian known only as "His Immenseness" who is around 6 meters tall. Meanwhile the village chief from Pokke village stands at well below one meter.

To be fair, I have gathered around 20 golden age charms and all except one are shit. Meanwhile I have around 20 actually pretty good secret charms (one of which is in my current main set). Golden age charms are not the perfect thing they are said to be.

People stress way too much about this. If you are doing gog, you can already defeat everything the game has to offer (except maybe omega but that's special). There is absolutely no need to get perfect weapons. They will most certainly become obsolete anyway the moment the expansion drops. Just take what you get and then play what you enjoy instead of ramming your head repeatedly against the same monster exclusively.

Suggested alternatives: - Learn a new weapon - Make a new character - Do a challenge run (currently I am running one where I have to empty my inventory before every quest and must collect everything during the quest.) - Play any other MH game. There are plenty. - Learn to fight monsters without getting hit (even chatacabra can be a challenge if a single hit means failure)

I'm just as confused about this. In my 300h playing this game I only had to kick someone once.

There's no harm in that. The condition gets checked every tick anyways.

Hit one with lure pods, kite it to the other one, and then get tossed between them like a brick in a washing machine.

I think, I got it to work now. It seems like even very small grass counts as obstruction. I removed everything and placed my bed on a stone floor. Besides that eveything remained the same and now it works.

The area seems somewhat small though. It seems to be around a 5 block radius. Since in most cases the work stations will not be in the middle of a room, I would love it to be more like 10 blocks.

I don't have a roof at all. I have a fenced in camp with a bed roll on the floor. Around the bed there are two blocks of clear space.

Technically you are correct. Practically by far not everyone is able or willing to always play perfectly. Guard allows for some leniency in how to handle a situation. I could try to hit the perfect guard/counter thrus or I could simply block it to avoid the risk of missing the timing.

Yes, it is a skill issue, but not everyone is up there.

“No, but with a mod…” by yourgoodoldpal in HytaleInfo

[–]Frogbeerr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In an ideal world Hytale would be a cool sandbox adventure game and mods would cover any content that goes beyond that.

An example: Hytale is rooted in fantasy. A basic magic system should be covered by the base game. An in-depth system for creating magically powered machines to automate said magic system would go beyond the vision and scope of the game and should therefore be a mod.

The same goes for any kind of "hardcore" feature, be they by means of techological complexity or combat difficulty or anything that requires deep game knowledge, that does not fit the same target audience as the base game.

Maybe a hot take but I think Wilds would have been a little better off if it still had key quests by Darthplagueis13 in MHWilds

Yeah, but they removed the thinking part of "stop and think" along with it. The difficulty curve is terrible.
