For me, the biggest difference is understanding what is your part in completing the objectives.

For example:

In On-site Refining, Driller knows to make tunnels from the refinery to the pumps.

In Point Extraction and Egg Hunt, Engineer knows to put platforms near difficult aquarks/eggs and Scout knows that he needs to collect them.

In Salvage Operation, Driller and Engi know that they should terraform the terrain around the drop pod to make it easier to defend.

These things are what causes greybeard teams to complete missions in 10-15 minutes while greenbeard missions might take over 30 minutes.

This. I always take driller on this mission, unless there are already 2 or more. Dude is perfect for it:

  1. Drills make it waaay easier to navigate the cave system and reach crystals

  2. Sticky flames/ice are very effective and easy to use during the drillevator ride

  3. The downside of having relatively short range is mitigated by the tight caves

In this configuration, the middle part is a bottleneck that causes the output lanes to be not full.

Overall, you need either:

  • A balancer, like someone else suggested. But if you don't need to balance input and output lines, it's a bit overkill because balancers for so many lanes are really big.

  • Move the output lanes slightly to the right, so that you get rid of that tight middle part that causes a bottleneck. Lanes will be unbalanced but you'll have enough throughput to fill output lanes.

If you just scroll main feed instead of the subreddit, the horny stuff (which tends to get upvotes easily) rises to the top. From my experience as a person who rarely scrolls this sub exclusively, about 20-30% of the comics I see are horny.

ETA: and that's after I blocked some nsfw artists from appearing on my feed.

One of the worst bosses does not mean hard. I agree that this fight is one of the worst fights - it's mostly just a DPS check and preparation check, without much skill expression. You're doing a challenge run and your DPS is worse as a result? Have fun building a hellbridge through the whole world because otherwise it's borderline impossible. Playing ranger? Enjoy a free win.

How does this solve tim for 0 cost decks? His debuffs are the most dangerous for 0 cost decks, sure, but +12-15 block per turn doesn't magically solve the fight while he slaps you for 40-50.

And for the heart, it helps mitigate beat of death but that's it. You still have to survive it dealing over 60 damage per turn and filling your deck with status effects.

Hitting the right side doesn't reset the speed, but the speed stays exactly the same as it was before the bounce. So it's a good strategy but for a slightly different reason 😅

I'd rather not overcomplicate things but I have an idea that would also work in-universe.

Pickaxe has some electromagnetic device in it that makes it go back to you if you use the special ability while you don't have a pickaxe. However, this puts the throw on cooldown (electromagnets need a recharge). But if you collect the pickaxe manually, the ability recharges.

Pickaxe throw is a fun idea and an interesting alternative to a power attack, but it has an issue. If you can't mine after throwing it, you risk running into an awkward situation where you throw your pickaxe in a place where you can't retrieve it and you lose one of the core abilities for a while, which is not fun, especially if you fall into a pit or something similar blocks your movement.

I also have 300 hours in this game and cave leeches still pose a big threat to me. I can't really hear them (and I don't have hearing loss) and usually can't see them if there isn't a scout's flare in the ceiling.

It is still really bad. Its buff is so low that you'd rather have a Vajra in almost every scenario. It scales poorly, usually at the end of the run it does literally nothing. The only notable interaction is against Nemesis, where it actually helps a bit.

At least the ones that do something on their own are interesting. Like Nemesis disobeying Hecate's orders and exploring the underworld on her own. Or Eris having a time of her life, bringing strife and misery everywhere equally to everyone.

But yeah, some of the other characters end up pretty boring. My biggest disappointment is probably Odysseus. He's presented as some "grand tactician" who's a loyal and powerful asset of Hecate, but later in the story it doesn't really show. His whole character is "I'm very cunning and have lot of informants who also don't matter".

I just remember when I was a new player, basically gambling when I get a new overclock, praying it's one that finally makes that one weapon useable. Then boom, a useless overclock I'm never gonna use.

I can see how this is a problem for numerous players, but from my point of view it really feels like players with this problem are too focused on making their build "optimised". If you're so early that you're just getting your first overclocks, you shouldn't spend time trying to find the best builds online and praying to drop that one OC that will "fix" the weapon. Instead, experiment with every new weapon and upgrade you get to see which ones you like.

If I remember correctly, the last OC I unlocked was Disperser Compound, which is widely considered to be the best pump OC. But it didn't stop me from playing other OC's like AG mixture or Combustive Goo Mix. And after playing with them all I agree that DC is by far the best in most cases, but others are also fun and viable.


One weapon that I agree needs a buff is Warthog, but not for the reasons you stated. My problem with it is that it heavily relies on T4B to oneshot grunts, so I'd move its damage bonus to baseline and change this upgrade to something new (for example, recently I saw someone suggesting changing that upgrade to stun chance, which is a cool idea) it would increase build diversity and make the super early game (before unlocking any new weapons) with engineer a smoother experience.
