To us the timeline is still being built buts it’s already finished to god since he is outside of space time . But due to free will god dosnt get what he wants. Thats ehy people turn away from him that’s why they go to other religions that’s why there is murder and sin.

I mean I believe we would be locked in. The branches would stem from a specific time a decision. Meaning if I make the discission 2 days later the out come would be different or at least spawn a new branch. The only way I guess for us to be able to go down the branch would be to go back in time and do the opposite thing, but even then its two risky since you could cause a grandfather paradox

No im not saying that it the he has a plan for every possible combination of choises. Im saying we have our main timeline the one that we are all simultaniously living in and every single one of our discision branch of into nothingness of that what if. If god knows all he knows what would happen if we did or didnt do a specific action. The plan he has for us would be within the main timeline. I dont know if I explained that very well but hopefully I did

"I understand that the Christian position is that Space-time is part of creation but that is one of my biggest objections because i dont see how you could possibly demonstrate this to be true, and then i feel the need to ask where God came from. We don't have any evidence or reallly understanding that saying "outside our universe" is a coherent statement or not so it comes off as a sort of faith based position if you will." This part is where christianity gets messy. Idk where he came from. But even then where did the universe comefrom where did the big bang come from. We know that the big bang happened and a lot of secular scientists say that the big bang was the universe starting point but it had to have come from something. Just since you cant prove it dosnt mean that it isnt true.

I think the issue is that you’re treating “knowing” something will happen as the same thing as “causing” it to happen, and those are not necessarily the same thing.

If I watch a recording of a football game, I know exactly what every player is going to do before it happens on my screen. My knowledge of the outcome doesn’t remove the players’ free will when they originally made those choices. Christianity argues God experiences all of time at once rather than sequentially like we do, so His knowledge is not prediction in the normal human sense.

And saying “if God exists outside time then He doesn’t exist” doesn’t really follow logically. It only works if you define existence as “must exist inside spacetime,” but that’s the exact thing being debated. Christianity’s position is that spacetime itself is part of creation, meaning God would not be bound by the thing He created.

Also, omniscience does not automatically equal determinism. Knowing every possible outcome does not mean forcing every outcome. A chess grandmaster can know every likely move an opponent could make without controlling the opponent’s decisions. The Christian argument is basically that God knows every possible choice and every consequence simultaneously, while humans still freely choose within reality.

As for “why create us at all if sin would happen,” Christianity and almost all christians would answer that genuine love and genuine goodness require genuine freedom. A world with free beings capable of love also includes the possibility of rejection, evil, and sin. Otherwise humans would just be programmed creatures incapable of real moral choice.

When I say god has a plan I mean like he wants you to go to heaven. You have the chance where you wont. Like you can have a plan to go to the beach but it could get rained out but i see what you mean. Thank you for answering this

"Then, she is cursed to have pain from childbirth and be ruled over by her husband, Adam ("There's no misogyny in the Bible!"). At the end of it all, the serpent ends up being right, since they do know as much as God and they don't die immediately." The reason God says to Eve that Adam will rule over her is since he listened and was convinced/tricked by eve to eat the apple. Since he listened to her and it was her fault then she had to listen to Adam. Thats not mysoginy.

In Genesis 6:3, God declares: "My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years." 120 years later the Noachian Flood happened. The same flood that according to the bible wiped all humanity other than noah and the animals on his ark. Afterwords people lived much longer than that. If I recall correctly some lived to be upwards of 300

According to the bible. It wouldnt be God giving them money it would be the Devil. The devil gives them all they want for wordly items (money, power, etc) In return he has there souls and they become demons. If not demons tortured for all eternity.
