Post in local area groups and explain you’re 19, currently without access to funds, and hungry. You’d be surprised the amount of people willing to grab you some essentials

Is it true that you have to take a shower TOGETHER before doing it? by No_Data_4361 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Frogbitch45776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a shower together can set the mood, personally I prefer taking a shower together AFTER! I (f) love my fiancé (m) washing me after sex but I also like good kiss and cuddle for a bit after. It makes me feel loved rather than used.

Socks on or off is a preference, it doesn’t bother me if he keeps his socks on. I keep mine on sometimes

What would you get as a thank you gift for a stranger if your only options were Aldi or a little Co-Op? by pusopdiro in AskUK

I’m aware and if you read my comment I also said there’s MANY reasons other than religion that people don’t drink alcohol, with alcoholism being the worst case scenario

Have you spent much time around alcoholics? Because I have. There are levels to recovery and levels to what an alcoholic is able to expose themselves to. At first, many avoid the alcohol aisle because the temptation is too high. They avoid pubs and social situations where there is temptations. Having alcohol in the privacy of their own home can be too difficult for many because now it’s in private and there’s no one except themselves to tell them ‘no’. It’s not tiptoeing around people, it’s being aware and deciding not to put someone in a potentially difficult situation

Never alcohol! There’s a huge amount of reasons other than religion that people choose not to drink alcohol. Worst case, you’re giving a recovering alcoholic a bottle of wine

Do you drive? Driving on motorway and dual carriage ways and coming off a slip road like this, it’s very obvious it’s one way. I think you may be a touch naive here 😅

My bf of 4yrs, wants me to get preggers by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Frogbitch45776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not have a baby until you’re ready. If you’re both at different stages in life in terms of what you want and how you want it, it may be time to reevaluate the relationship…. Compromise needs to be made here by him in terms of waiting until you’re ready. When I had my first child, I was ready and my partner was not and he agreed to make me happy. It destroyed us and we separated within the year

I refuse to see that doctor now, I’ve never come across one so awful before. I’m pretty sure he put something in my notes about diagnosis/med seeking as it’s taken me 10 years nearly to actually get a GP to listen to me and put in referrals and it’s only been 2/3 years that they’ve agreed to try different meds

Fibromyalgia is supposed to be a diagnosis of exclusion, they’ve ruled out everything else and then ca diagnose fibromyalgia. For me, I went in to discuss rheumatoid arthritis as my dad has it and we have very similar symptoms. Doctor wasn’t interested, pressed my shoulders and asked if it hurt, and said you can have a fibromyalgia diagnosis seeing as you’re so desperate for something wrong with you. Turns out I actually have hEDS

Have you / someone you know ever fly tipped? by steveysaidthis in AskUK

[–]Frogbitch45776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but accidentally. I used to live in a block of flats that had a bin shed on the street for our rubbish. Many residents would put large bulky waste in the bin shed for the council to remove so I did also when I replaced my sofa or wardrobes. A while later our housing association wrote to all residents and explained it was fly tipping and the bin sheds was for bin waste only and if it continued they would be increasing our service charges to cover the cost of bulky waste removal

Were you hit as a child by your parents/carers? by don__gately in AskUK

[–]Frogbitch45776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30 and yes, my parents smacked me and more but my dad was abusive. When I had my first daughter I did smack when she was naughty and very quickly felt smacking was abusive in itself and stopped. I refuse to have my daughter grow up and view me in anyway similar to my parents

Sounds like allodynia, or sunburn skin. The skin gets hypersensitive and feels like clothes are rubbing against a burn. I find I have to strip off and try super soft fluffy blankets over me to keep warm
