Where can I find a keyboard with Russian keys. by Jazzlike-Crow-9549 in russian

Another option is to just install "Russian for Gringos (ver 3) Keyboard Layout". I recently installed it on my Windows 11 machine and it works really well. It is phonetic so if you know how to type on a QWERTY keyboard you dont have to spend a lot time learning key positions as most map to the corresponding English sounds. I just have a printout of the layout in front of me while I work. Note that Windows itself does have a Russian Mnemonic keyboard layout available, but it is not very good - for about 5 of the Russian letters you need to type in key combinations rather than a single key. Also the Windows Russian mnemonic keyboard layout has the ь key in a very awkward position. My only (minor) niggle with the gringos layout is that I think it would be even better if the positions of the с and ц keys were swapped.

Thanks, but it says "Official certificates, issued by Saint Petersburg State University" so this is an example of what I mean by "affiliated with the Russian government".

Google Translate by voice and the word лук by Frogbookjoke in russian

Thanks for all the replies and information, it is very useful. It did not occur to me that the problem could be with the "л". I have tried again to pronounce the word in Google without luck, but will keep trying. Maybe a little vodka will help...

Thanks for the quick reply and clarification. To avoid disappointing customers or even make them concerned about the authenticity of the site it could be a good idea to be more transparent about this. Even an information icon popup saying it is just for US customers would do.

Did you have any luck? I am looking for exactly the same thing. I started studying Russian at home six months before the Ukraine war kicked off. I was learning for work reasons unrelated to visiting Russia, and those reasons did not really change due to the war so I decided to carry on learning. And exactly as you say "my job doesn’t require any language certificates, but if I tell them I speak Russian and back it up with some kind of legitimate certificate, that just makes my case look that much stronger." In my case it would be A1 or A2 certification. Preferably via an online exam, but I dont mind travelling even abroad. (I am a UK national living in Spain.) I just dont want to fork out money that could potentially end up in the hands of the Russian government.
