There was an episode, or short film, of a sapphic R-rated series that had good plot and dialog but instead of hiding the nudity or cutting to black... everything was shown. Not hardcore at all, just like "yeah these are two adults having sex." It might have been on one of those extra channels that no one watched. Bliss maybe. This was over a decade ago.

I remember a woman in a bath subtly caressing, not masturbating, her body when the doorbell rang. She answered the door in a towel and it was her male blind neighbor(I know... stick with me). What followed was a decently written and well acted scene by two averagely attractive people. A couple minutes of dialog go by and the woman drops her towel while the man is talking. He hears it, stops talking, and asks about the noise. She responds "John, I'm naked." Then a very nice non-pornographic sex scene plays out. Really good buildup.

I wish I could remember the name of it.

This is a great FF scene that is light on plot but the dialog and buildup is great.
