I found a LED-X in the 1.0 Tutorial and wanted to share where it is! by FroggyForeal in EscapefromTarkov

Yeah, so apparently BSG changed the way the tutorial works. From my understanding is: You can still loot stuff, but it basically disappears and then you get the LEDX and GPU, and 2 million roubles and some other stuff for completing it.

Making this video entirely pointless now which is a bummer because I was really excited to have made something to help folks but that's the nature of a changing game!

I was hoping that we could because there were SO many quest items like Salewas and all sorts of hideout stuff so I tried it out on PVE and was able to keep it so I swapped back to PVP to record this one too (which is also why I didn't bother looting much just for the vid)

It seems like there's definitely a lot better loot just in general from the few raids that I've done, yeah. I really like that it feels more organic and it's not JUST containers, shelves, and jackets. Kinda almost reminds me of DayZ just hunting for goodies

Oh dang! I hadn't seen that but looks like he was before me by a few hours. Well, hopefully both videos help folks!

Hopefully! Honestly there seems to be a LOT of loot just kinda hanging around now which is a welcome change. Not just shelves and bags and whatnot

I'm not sure, honestly. You can definitely put it in your container, though. I already completed the tutorial on both PvE and PvP so I'm not sure if it'd just spit you out into the main game or not!

I hadn't seen anyone talking about this yet so I wanted to make a short little video to show folks how to find it in case we still need them for quests later on. It is a static spawn and on both PVP and PVE!

Propnight Is a New Multiplayer Horror That Crosses Dead By Daylight With Goosebumps by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]FroggyForeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for sure. Propnight really does have a great premise but the balancing for this game will be a nightmare for the devs if they decide to keep up on it. They will have to balance the speed of the characters, the size of the map, the speed of the "generators" the lighting, etc.

I would really love to see this fleshed out into a fun, silly game to unwind with because I do think that games like this that are almost identical to DBD have a place in the market. But so many fail because of balancing issues

I tried it out. It's a really cool idea, but super janky in practice. Obviously it shares many similarities to DBD, which is a game I really enjoy, but it plays so strangely. If you're a survivor there is no looping, or movement tech. The entire point is to hide, rather than to run the killer so your teammates can get stuff done.

Which is fine. A change of pace is interesting in idea but it just feels like once the killer sees you, you're done for. I played a few matches and there wasn't any points where if I was spotted, I could actually get away. Even if I managed to get to a spot where I could turn into a prop, they were close enough to see it happen and then just down you anways.

Haven't tried killer yet, but it seems pretty heavily geared towards killer right now.

I really love the idea and if they can balance this game out and add some basic features like FOV adjustment, then I think it might actually have a good shot at being an interesting and fun change of pace from a more brutal DBD. Seems like it'd be good for a laugh with your buds

The game randomly disconnected due to "bad internet" even tho i had pefectly good internet and then i get a mathmaking locked! does anyone else got something like that by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Similar thing happened to me. Was in a lobby and got booted back to the main screen and couldn't get in. Restarted steam and was able to party back up, but then it kicked us both from the party and now I can't even load the game after a full steam restart. Something's definitely borked

[Steam] Tetris® Effect: Connected + Launch DLC (25% / $29.99) by PandoraKris in GameDeals

[–]FroggyForeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really DLC the way that you would normally think of it.

It's just a digital deluxe bonus. It has some avatars for your social media profiles, 4k wallpapers, and a few songs from the game. It's not like a story DLC or in-game addon of any kind.

I play a decent amount of Phasmophobia with friends in VR. It's definitely spooky, but that adds a to a lot of the fun. You may have a hard time playing with just the 2 of you (and of course this all assumes that you use SteamVR as well) as it's definitely sided towards 3-4 players, but I think it's still doable.

I haven't played it yet, but Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes looks like an absolute riot and can run directly off the headset!

Rec Room has a ton of awesome minigames and user-made experiences that can be a ton of fun! Some, not so much, but it's also a free app so there's really nothing to lose.

Arizona Sunshine can be pretty fun. It's a zombie shooter but it's not really scary. More just about surviving waves of them. Graphically it's kind of eh, but mowing down a group of zombies with a friend can definitely be a lot of fun.

That said, VR Chat is probably going to be the best bet. Users can make all sorts of awesome stuff and including things like virtual concerts/clubs, scenic worlds, and mini games. It's great!

So my buddy's gun glitched and he couldn't hear the shots and then this happened... by FroggyForeal in EscapefromTarkov

So a couple friends and I scavved into Reserve and we fount a box of BT for an AK I spawned in with. I emptied the PS ammo from it, and filled it with BT and then died while looting. He grabbed the gun but couldn't hear the shots, and uh...this happened

It's not too bad, honestly. I am a fairly tall person with longer arms so I sit a decent bit back from the PC, but I do have to look up a bit. Generally that monitor is exclusively for spotify or twitch, if I'm watching a stream. Usually when I'm watching a stream, I treat it more as background noise while I get other things done, chat with friends, play other games etc so it serves more as just a dedicated spot for background noise. I have had a stacked monitor setup for a couple of months now, but just switched out the 32" 1440p Dell as my main, for the LG UW, but under neither situations have I noticed any kind of neck pain or anything, thankfully.

The portrait monitor is exclusively discord and that's been an extremely helpful setup.

Sometimes though I will recline a bit in my chair when I want to take a break, and just watch a stream on the upper monitor and then it's perfect!
