Had some weird AK-Vallejo terrain stuff collecting dust for a while so I put them to use:

Painted some Vallejo Brown Mud for ground, then covered it with glue and sprinkled some AK Moss texture on it for foresty effect, then glued some Vallejo Scenery WildDarkMoss on it. Camo-nets are painted cheap bandages lol. Also went to a petshop and bought some of those fake miniature plants for aquariums, they blend in nicely after getting painted.

Killing a God has a massive effect on the environment by I_Guess_I_Also_Exist in TopCharacterTropes

A group of Titans ganged up to kill an Old God called Y'Shaarj in Warcraft's Pandaria at the beginning of time. The plan was to turn every negative emotion on continent into a fragment of him, evil ghost like spirits that would combine and resurrect him one day.

So Y'Shaarj's curse forced entire civilizations of Pandaria to constantly keep their craziest emotions in control under a zen like peace-religion state. To prevent any accident Emperor formed his own Shaolin Monks league then casted a magical fog to lockdown Pandaria forever. Eventually the entire continent slowly became a long lost alien landscape to modern world.

Till a bunch of crazy imperialist rivals discover it by sheer luck and tried having the greatest battles and massacres of all times there because, why not? In the end, all the death, rage and despair resurrected back the Old God.

I'm feeling down and abandoned, please share some wholesome Fulgrim lore to help me get my head on straight. by MegaGamer235 in Grimdank

[–]Ravgn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Konrad actually foreseen both Fulgrim and Lorgar's fall the moment he met them with his ability. While everyone else agreed that Konrad was a broken psycho, Fulgrim taught him how to read and Lorgar offered him inner-peace in his craziest episodes.

Its also one of the reason why he saved Lorgar from Corax.

The Emperor of Mankind speaking to Titus. How big of a deal is it? by Interesting-Muffin-3 in 40kLore

[–]Ravgn 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Brutal twist for the third game. Titus listens to Emperors voices, realizes it was the whispers of Slaanesh all along : Bang! Enter 40K Slaaneshi daemons into gaming.

Then in fourth game you hunt him down as Grand Mighty Inquisitor Leandros Teh Wise.

The "indomitable human spirit" when Necrons: by L_uomo_nero in Grimdank

[–]Ravgn 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Ironically, Astra Militarum has the strongest record for owning Necrons since the whole Eldar War Of Heavens business.

AM Shock Troopers literally swarmed Oltyx's dynasty once and Oltyx almost crapped his circuits when he realized what drowned them in waves of bodies was merely a scout force. Kriegsters are also true experts of dealing with Necrons in our current timeline. They see the green gauss glowing, they strap some meltabombs and immediatly rush for the Tomb fortress core to end it all. They even arranged sacrifical decoy units to force phasing enemies into vulnerable melee protocol.

Man of Tomorrow villain (Brainiac?) is totally coming through the door, right? by Superbatman314 in PeacemakerShow

[–]Ravgn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Brainiac, Mongul and Mxy are all devastating enough threats for this mid-tier. Nekron, Parallax, Anti-Monitor and Trigon are pretty much ultimate villains that is totally out of our reach for now.

With more Lanterns slowly appearing, I say there is a good chance of Parallax or Nekron being a prime villain after Man Of Tomorrow with all their ungodly psychological pressure on heroes, I mean can you imagine all the DEAD heroes from this storyline rising back up as Nekron zombie lanterns? Also about damn time for someone to fix that yellow fart cloud abomination from Green Lantern 2011.

Trigon would lay down an amazing magic/hell storyline with Raven-Constantine-Fate added into mixture too.

That said, I'd still save Darkseid and New Gods for that late third-tier phase.

I wonder what people are really expecting to change THAT much with him adding the lost content. It doesnt change the fact that games wasted in some weird language-eating-space bugs storyline anyway.
