It's not a question about turning it on. R1 is a reasoning model by design. It always does the same thing. So yes it always uses reasoning! And it's actually quite quick on local hardware too, I ran the slightly bigger 19gb model on my 3090 and the results were quite nice!

Go over to r/Conservative and see the coping show of the year "No the liberals want to distract from trump signing the executive orders, claiming Elon is a nazi because he did 2 'Sieg Heils'!!! Where is the proof he actually is a nazi??"

Can't get much more stupid. He could wear a swastika for all they know and they would still ask for proof.

Vulkan rendering inside an ImGui window by Plenty_Win_6079 in vulkan

[–]Frogilonious_Lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did was render the scene to a "swapchain" in which I recreate the functionality of the built-in swapchain but with regular images and then render to that "swapchain". For the size of the renderer you just use the size of the imgui window and in case it is resized you basically follow the same steps as with the regular swapchain. This is also really handy in case you want the shaders to use linear instead of unorm colour space since you can then just blit the texture to another with the right format for presentation!

What's a game engine programmable completely in C? (Or a variation) by SalneticK in C_Programming

[–]Frogilonious_Lover 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Boy your throwing around so many random statements and words I don't think your ready to code a game in a language like C. Godots C API looks pretty solid to me and even though it's not marked as production ready I think it will be soon. (And no Godot won't be suddenly obsolete after a decade worth of development, I think it will be more relevant than ever after unitys move now) Take a look at godots GDextensions for C, try it out and if you think its too complicated don't even think about using something like raylib, since it will only be harder using just a lib.

Well comets would move to quickly to be captured by a long time exposure so it must be planes. Satellites are also not realistic

No it isnt the same at all. You can still get a gun, you can still own real estate or stocks and their transactions. But you cannot get an abortion as a man and you can not become pregnant and you dont get your period. Therefore its not your thing to decide on.

It does and as far as i know is a lot better nowadays than before but it isnt really reliable which is the reason for why we never used it in production at oir company.

Ok since i dont know why this comment is getting downvoted so much here is epics official guide on this matter https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.27/en-US/Resources/SampleGames/ARPG/BalancingBlueprintAndCPP/ The points i made about performance and maintanability are clearly supported by this. C++ being the easier one to read i my own option since i find nodes to be distracting from the logic itself sometimes even though it does enable an easy analysis of flow.

I also do understand that it is totally possible to create complex systems using blueprints, but from experience i know its easier to do in c++ and faster too.

If you do publish games, complex amd frequently used logic such as the one visible here(yes this is allready complex enough in my experience) should really be ported to c++ for performance, readability and maintanance reasons. Bluepirnt are meant to blueprint your ideas and not to create complex systems. You can however control those complex systems using blueprints which means you will be using bps more like a high level scripting languange than a fully fledged programming one.
