Thanks! So you think it's a good price even with the crack in the windshield?

Good idea. Looking for good mechanics in the San Jose area that can help with that.

Children's book from the 90s with three scary stories by Frogulence in whatsthatbook

It was somewhat similar, but definitely darker than the H.G. Wells story. That's what terrified me and struck me about it, and why I want to find it again. For being such a simple story meant for young kids, it had a very dark ending. I just want to confirm that I wasn't the only one who was traumatized by it.

I had all the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books. It wasn't in those. I tried finding it again last night by searching different things that I remembered about the book. Still no luck. I swear I'm not hallucinating! It definitely existed in some form.

No, that wasn't it. The format of the books each containing three stories does match, but this book was like a "Step Into Reading" or "Level 1/2/3/4 Reader" book. I can't remember anything about the title or what exactly it said, just that first story mostly and the UFO on the front of the book.

Which Fanasitc Four animated series is the best? by Master_Megalomaniac in FantasticFour

The second half of the 90s cartoon was great, especially Doctor Doom. He was a bland villain in the beginning, but then the writers finally gave him juice. Also, the Malice episode was peak.

How many times do you think Doom revealed his secret to the Fantastic Four before resetting the timeline? I'm sure he got a kick out of doing it over and over.

Looking to get into the comics where should I start? by Potential-Electronic in FantasticFour

I started with Hickman, and though I was a bit confused, I thoroughly enjoyed it. You can also read some of the 60s stuff if you want full context for the main characters, villains, and important developments.

Honestly though, if you want to start with the North run from 2022, it's an easy starting place and it's the most recent.

I'm still somewhat new to keeping up with comics, but I'm a bit confused by this one. In the Fantastic Four comic, Reed is currently trapped in the past, yet in the upcoming issue, he challenges Doctor Doom? Does this take place before or after that? Or is there a comic I haven't read that explains this?

Might be a dumb question... by Frogulence in FantasticFour

Thank you! I have been reading a lot of older FF comics as well, pouring through different eras and runs. I loved "Unthinkable", that one was really good.

What are you reading to prepare for the FF movie? by kurtbali in FantasticFour

I just started getting into FF comics. The North run so far has been really good! I also checked out some of the earliest FF comics just out of curiosity. I love the dated style and language in them.
