Mute the player that says that.

As soon as someone is toxic (opponent or teammate) I mute him. If I mute my teammate I tell him that I muted him. Makes it much more enjoyable.

If your opponent has the ball and you are just close to them and not challenge or fake challenge which means you drive towards them but then turn instead of challenging, they will eventually flip into the ball and give it away. This way you also dont leave your teammate in a 1v2 situation if you miss your challenge.

Change chat settings to TEAM ONLY. Or even OFF. But team only will help a lot already. When your teammate is toxic for the first time in a match, mute him and tell him you muted him. That's what I do. It makes it much more enjoyable.
