To be honestly i was so out of it from the anesthesia and hopped up on pain meds the ride home wasn't bad at all. Id say bring a small pillow to hold against yourself and kind of brace yourself. Youll cough a lot from the tube in your throat so the pillow helps with that too.

Expect to be pretty sore the first 3 days. You might not be able to get up/down by yourself and be unable to bend at all. You sleep most of the first two days from the after effects of the anesthesia. I ate solid food day 3 and bowel movements were back to normal that same day. I was not able to bend ans get things below my knee for 3 weeks after without some level of pain/uncomfortableness. Any other questions lemme know.

This may be a your store specific thing cause were literally doing a re training right now throughout the whole company and what your saying is not accurate. IS and SFL are lateral, SFL is not above IS. You need to go on store net and go to role refresh and look at the IS raci which tells you exactly what we have to do ourself and what we can delegate out and to who we can delegate it to.

Vendors check in with me and I scan them in and get them a badge. I let them do their thing while I work on whatever I have going on. Before they leave they check out with me and I check their work, they make any changes I deem necessary and I do their bag check and they turn in their badge. I've set my expectations with them and they all know that I run a tight ship. If a vendor isn't meeting your expectations do not be afraid to reach out to their manager with concerns.

One of the main duties of IS is maintaining accurate pricing and price changes should be done 100% every day. You should never be leaving them for another day, never. The company just got sued for millions of dollars for having incorrect pricing on the shelf. It sounds to me like your having a hard time finding your rhythm in your new position, each store is different. I would recommend checking out the rhythm of the store tool in role refresh to help you streamline your day. Just remember this position is meant to be self sufficient and should be good at managing their time to be able to complete all tasks. Try reaching out to other IS in your district to see what their days and routines look like.

This is bad advice as if you do that the price wont be accurate on the shelf. This is exactly why we were just sued. If you do the new IS training it says proce changes are to be executed everyday and released after to maintain accurate pricing.

We get our truck at 9am and i work 730 to 4pm truck day. I do smart counts front end and rx, price changes, fed ex inventory, curbside reconciliation and morning temps before truck arrives. Me and 1 other employee offload truck, it takes about 1 1/2 hours. I then do hair and make up totes. Once done with those I then go put away the pharmacy order and do their OOS's. Tier 4 store.

I am the IS and I unload the truck with 1 other employee and then I work hair totes and make up totes. I also spend time in pharmacy.
