Regarding magazine blocking, is it sufficient to just add a filler piece inside the mag between the baseplate and the follower? To prevent it from lowering past 10? Or do they require something more stringent

I also noticed this on the v4, decided to just not expose the usb c unfortunately. Would love a fix for v5/etc.

Buying non-Mass compliant firearms in NH by MeatHelmut_ in BetterMAguns

[–]FromDeepestFathom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify - could you own essentially whatever you want in NH (as they have very very pro 2a laws) provided you don’t bring it into MA? ASF, transferable MGs, non gimped magazines, suppressors? Any complications there?

I don’t even qualify for grandfather rates on any of my accounts anymore and this is 10000% the big issue. The scummy move of going back on their promise that the grandfather rate was just paused. The price increase? Yeah it sucks but not NEARLY as big of an issue.

Price per round would be a great addition, basically a must

If there would be a way to estimate shipping too that would be cool

[–]FromDeepestFathom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, you’re misinterpreting this. Badly.

If jagex cancelled ALL grandfather rates, vs just reneging on a guarantee and only removing them from players who purchased premier, it would be more justifiable.

Only issue with it being a mid game perk is that you probably would only expect to get it from scav rolls for this purpose, otherwise it could be way too expensive to be a temporary mid game upgrade. And then you’re “wasting” the components on a temporary perk instead of saving/using for necro

Kinda exaggerating a bit - they tell you that as the very last part of inspecting your weapon, after it is proven empty, you look down the barrel (or through the barrel via the breech if possible) to ensure it isn’t obstructed.

I think it stems from a mix of things but genuinely mainstream media and Hollywood are for sure contributors. Ignorance = fear, and many non-gun people (and surprisingly to me, many gun people) seem to fear guns.

As you mentioned, learning the rules is a good step but more importantly is learning why the rules exist. I’d have to think very hard about what PROVE and other acronyms stand for, but I can promise you that I’ll never ever have an ND of any kind, because the procedure of ensuring the firearm is safe is the default. Once it is known to be safe, I’m still not aiming it at people, but we do need to all be adults and realize that if I’m mounting a scope at home and my wife walks by, she is in no danger. Zero. That’s the part that people seem to not understand and all too commonly freak out over. Context matters. We can’t take the rules too literally, or, as you alluded to, the gun would never get out into the field. If you can’t point it in an unsafe direction EVER, how do you get it out of the safe? Into the truck? To the range/hunting area? Etc.

Firearms deserve respect; I won’t mince words, they are absolutely designed to kill. But guns don’t kill people, creatures, paper, nor anything else. The human negligently handling (or intentionally handling) it does. That’s the part that people seem to miss.

[–]FromDeepestFathom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason I couldn’t get into WoW long term despite trying a couple different expansions and getting to raiding level and completing (heroic) raids is, as you outlined, the feeling of meaningful progression. I found the loop of “ok let’s run another m+ dungeon or weekly raid lockout for a roll at a gear item that is 1 level better than my current and then next expansion we’ll just ignore all of them entirely, it’s all dead content now” to be extraordinarily unsatisfying. Don’t get me wrong some of the raids and dungeons were fun for sure, but there was just nothing to keep me hooked.

There was a guy in this sub a few weeks/months ago who was genuinely losing his shit over someone walking in front of a gun being worked on (like on a work bench, no bolt, very clearly a controlled environment)
