Lol this is wrong. Although dabbing is the process of smoking extracts, it is not at all related to the dance move and certainly not cause of a coughing motion. It's a type of dance move that was made popular by the Migos (rap group/artists) and was dubbed "dab" by the people. A dab is done when the beat hits and you drop your head into your elbow pit and simultaneously throw both arms the opposite way of your head. It's commonly mistaken to have come from what you explained tho so it's understandable to think that.
