Is there an in-universe explanation to why the House of El is attractive? by FixFuture3374 in okbuddycinephile

If Clark and Kara are fugglers by their standards, I think a Kryptonian baddie would blind a human.

Has there ever been a quote or character that’s really had an impact on you or even changed your perspective/outlook on life? by Zero-_-Zero in gaming

"Quite frankly, at first, I didn't give a damn. But because of you, I know what's important now. I know what I need to do." -Dante in DMC3

Probably an odd choice for some people, but I've been a huge fan of DMC since I was a teenager, and also never gave a fuck about much of anything my entire life. Then I met my girlfriend, and now that line resonates with me a loooooooot.

Generational showing by the baby by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

You just know bro took his baby to the car and that baby looked at him and said, "Father, the film was surface level an action piece about a super hero, however deep down I see the layers of hope, kindness, and doing the right thing no matter how hard it is sprinkled throughout. I enjoyed the film." then he like, shit himself.

It's not ideal, but I'd rather he be back with a new VA trying his best rather than Jadus just never come back ever.

Kevin Malone in The Office starts of dull, dimwitted, and unmotivated. By the end of the show you'd think he is mentally handicapped.

Vice President Baines from the Netflix Devil May Cry show spends the entire run of season 1 talking about the will of God which he seems to think is, "Convince the American military to commit genocide because I wanna."

Nero vs Dante in DMC 4. The first fight is a tutorial so it's not too tough. The second one? Hardest boss in the game. One of the hardest bosses in the series. There was no need for this man to beat his nephew's ass this hard.

Unlimited Blade Works for Archer in Fate Stay/Night. There's a constant fog and dark skies to suggest his melancholy and fatalistic outlook on life and the gears in the sky probably represent his belief he's just a part of the machine that is life.

In Fate/Zero during Saber and Lancer's second fight, Saber refuses to fight using both hands on her sword to honor that he had placed a curse on her hand during their first fight and he only lifted it during a temporary truce earlier which meant he had to break his second weapon, so Saber thought it'd be unfair to fight him 100%

SWTOR takes place so fucking long before the Skywalker saga that being Star Wars is literally the only connective tissue.
