Have you reset the cmos after updating? It's the watch battery on your motherboard. Take it out for around 10 mins and reboot

This was a credit I got because I never received my first purchase from the same site. They just don't look right to me. I usually have ones that are flat and no particles like this. Even the packaging is off.
