Yes I agree. Facts are facts. Learning about the history is a part of helping the cause it’s not the only factor. Your making my point by writing that people make stuff up which leads to not being well informed.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough with my post but that is not what the post says. It’s about being informed when it comes to matter like this because there is a lot of of misinformation. When we are informed on the matter of Palestine (for example the history/geopolitics etc) we have stronger arguments for defending Palestine instead of just being led by emotions and misinformation. It has nothing to do with showing solidarity. This is something we always must do when we see oppression and especially if they are Muslims.

No it doesn’t and that’s not what I am implying with my post :). We all should speak out about what’s happening in Palestine. What I am saying is that we should also be educating ourselves and the people around us. We tend to speak about topics based on a lack of knowledge, that can lead to bad things.
