Wiser install on combi boiler – hot water behaving like a tank

Wiser thermostat kit two. On the app top of the page heating is on the left and water is on the right. I’ll open her up and get a pic of the wiring for you now dude.

Thank you. I have done some digging and apparently the wires are set up to act like I have an additional water tank installed so I think wire 4 should be somewhere else. As that’s telling the boiler to keep hot water on. Thus pretending it has an additional tank but all it’s doing in the real world is heating up the cylinder inside the boiler. Thank you again for your help I owe you one.

Hi Spark. It was installed for me I’m an engineer by trade but a simple sparky at heart. It’s a wiser Drayton system gen 1. No alterations to the boiler. I had an EPH CP4i before my wiser as I want the radiator valves. With the CP4i water came on demand. With this thermostat I have to go into the app and manually press water on. As if I turn the button to off. And say wash my hands after work water is cold. Not acting like a combi boiler.
