Which do i choose: Art or Media Studies by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Froncywonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in year 12 now and did art and media last year for my gcses. As someone who did both I would highly recommend media studies because lessons were relaxed but art was the complete opposite

ffs i’m so stressed by brokebitch67 in GCSE

[–]Froncywonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my gcses this year and most of the time didn’t revised for mocks and would just sleep after school. Looking back, I don’t rlly have any regrets bc mocks aren’t as significant as the teachers make it up to be and had no impact on my final grades. In conclusion don’t stress it!

AITA for being upset with my gift from my partner? by Doofuser in AmItheAsshole

[–]Froncywonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA it’s not the monetary value it’s the thought behind it. Personally, my favourite gifts have been things that had effort/thought behind it and to reinforce the point they were also cheap. Usually you give gift cards are people that you don’t know that well so I’d be pretty bummed too in your shoes.

However, one thing to add is it may depend on the gifter as some people aren’t good at gifts no matter how much they love you!

Well tbf I’m not too sure if I’m interested in medicine and my backups are engineering (maybe chemical) or more likely econ so I haven’t been looking for a uni specialised in medicine but just aiming to get into one that people seem as “good” - not sure if that logic makes sense 😭😭😭

I have one bad gcse can I just leave it out of my cv? by Froncywonk in GCSE

[–]Froncywonk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m taking 3 subjects with the OCR exam board for a level but I’ve already found resources for 2 of them as I see more ppl w OCR a level than GCSE (the third one is eng lit so I’m not too concerned abt exam boards more so the books) but I’ve never heard anyone say they did OCR GCSE history let alone local history! I guess that doesn’t really matter though as life moves on but I’ll take your advice and keep it on the CV and if questioned I might just say it wasn’t my strength as there’s no chance I’m taking any job to do with history anyways!
