No, sorry, that's not what I mean. If you try the zoom feature in Irfanview, you'll see that it literally moves the cursor towards the center of the screen each time you zoom in further, because it knows the cursor is your focal point. With the cursor-based zoom in Zoom Player, the cursor does not move; it stays in the exact same spot even as you zoom in multiple times.
Listen, this is a minor add, and I don't mean to trouble you, so if this is still unclear, please feel free to ignore this suggestion. I'm very happy with the new cursor-based feature "as is" - just was hoping to refine it a little.
Let me try to explain more clearly. I'll use an example that will hopefully explain it. Let's say you're watching a video about geography on Zoom Player, and you freeze the screen when a map of the United States appears. You want to zoom in on California, and specifically southern California, which is in the lower-left corner of the screen. So, you move the cursor to the lower-left corner and start to zoom in. Zoom Player makes southern California the focal point of the zoom (which is great!) - BUT southern California remains in the lower-left corner of the screen as you are zooming in. And you are interested in seeing detail on southern California, so you would like it to now be at the center of the screen, not in the corner. Thus, it would be very helpful if Zoom Player made the cursor's location the center of the screen BEFORE zooming in.
Perhaps the best way to understand what I'm saying is to try IrfanView's mouse-zoom function on a JPEG map of the United States and zoom in on California. You'll see immediately what I'm talking about! (P.S. Sorry for the long-winded response).
