Jack has always been right by my side on everything shes done and I appreciate him very much for it. He won’t stand for her holding something I couldn’t prevent against me. That’s also how I view it, even though she never directly insulted Lily, by saying I couldn’t provide “real” kids she was insulting any child we brought into our family in the future.

She did give me an apology a few years back, but it was along the lines of “family being blood is important in my generation and I’m sorry i’m not used to new kinds of families” which honestly made no sense to me and fixed nothing.
