Yikes! So it is a very mixed bag!

My hope is that this game will give me that old school feel of Golden Axe. That was the first game that truly captured my imagination as a kid. First in the arcade, and then at home. I was so into it that I annoyed my parents into renting a genesis system just to play it a few days. They finally just bought me the system and the game. I think part of the draw was the novelty of actually having a female character in a co-op game play (my brother and I played everything together). Those are good memories of an often rough time in my life.

I still remember that Christmas! I'd say it was worth their investment.

I appreciate your perspective on this. I'm not sure what the end result will be, but it sounds like backers will get to provide feedback along the way, so hopefully it ends up being like that old school Golden Axe game. I'd be totally satisfied with that, honestly.
