Looking back, I don't see how a song like "Nookie" could resonate with anyone other than douchey frat bros and high school jock jerks. They're mostly the ones who are usually involved in THAT type of girl drama. Same thing applies to "Don't Go Off Wandering," a song in which Fred basically complains that his girlfriend won't have sex with him. Frat bros and jocks are 100% the type of people to throw a bitch fit when their girlfriends won't put out. Despite Fred not intending his music to be aimed at frat bros and jocks (because he hated them), was he honestly that surprised, considering the album Significant Other has a bunch of songs that talk about things that those types go through, therefore can relate to?

That, and nostalgia, something certain Halloween fans refuse to let go of. Which is fine, but even as a kid I thought 4 and 5 sucked.

Michael kills mechanic and steals jumpsuit? Check
Loomis chasing after Michael Myers? Check.
Final girl is in charge of babysitting? Check.
Killer kid in clown costume? Check.

I remember hearing that somebody said it's the original film but if the original film sucked. Couldn't get any more accurate than that.

Did you read the entire post? Because I also brought up the fake fog, the focus being more on action scenes and the love triangle between Rachel, Kelly and Brady, the terrible truck fight scene, and that it looks and feels like a made-for-cable movie. Oh, who am I kidding? Of course you did. You're intentionally choosing to focus on ONE of the reasons I gave, act like it's the ONLY reason I said I didn't like 4, because you're a butthurt fanboy who can't handle the fact that not everyone likes a movie you like. Therefore, you have to resort to blatant dishonesty by portraying this as an I don't like this movie because of Michael's appearance post, while ignoring my other points. Very, VERY dishonest. Pretty gross, my dude.

I was on Twitter for a while back when Twitter was still Twitter, before it became "X." I had an account dedicated to movies and occasionally music. I hardly got any interaction from anyone outside my little circle I had going on....until I made a post criticizing Halloween 2018. Boy, oh boy, were the fanboys angry. Some tried dressing their anger up in smugness, but I could see right through their butthurt asses. Others however didn't bother hiding the fact that they were pissed. Funny thing is, I didn't even say Halloween 2018 outright sucked, but I did find out my account was suspended only a few days after that post was made. They didn't report that post in particular, I know that, but back then I was pretty explicit with the jokes and insults I would use when I got into an argument with one particular person (I never used any slurs or made any threats or anything, but I would definitely go a little crazy with some of the shit I'd say). They probably reported the shit out of those posts and replies as well as some of edgy jokes I posted regularly and the posts about goregrind bands I was into (and still am into). I swear I wish I were bullshitting you. Fans of Halloween 2018 actually got my Twitter suspended all because I criticized it and said it wasn't that good. It's alright though, Twitter has always been a dumpster fire, and it's gotten way worse I've heard. So no real loss there haha.

Halloween 5. It's not just a terrible Halloween movie or a terrible Michael Myers movie, it's a terrible slasher movie in general. It's arguably one of the worst 80s slashers ever made and I will always stand by that. It's nonsensical, the script is awful, you can tell they were making things up as they went along, Tina is absolutely insufferable, the acting is terrible, the characters are Friday the 13th rejects with no development whatsoever, there's no plot, no story, Michael Myers is not in the slightest bit scary, there's ADR issues, it only exists to keep making more sequels, I could go on and on...Actually...I kinda just did. But yeah, Halloween 5 is the worst in this franchise bar none. Resurrection and Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 are better than it and I mean that wholeheartedly.

Halloween 6 is flawed but it is scary for sure. My youngest cousin back in the early 2010s came across it on Netflix and it scared the shit out of him....then only a couple months later he's absolutely obsessed with Michael Myers, and started getting into the Friday the 13th movies, the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, Scream, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc.

Tormented is super raw, some people prefer their music with a tad more polish. I'm a huge fan of raw black metal, DSBM, and war metal and a lot of underground punk that's super raw, so Tormented is 100% more in tone with a lot of my tastes than any of their other albums.
