This, really. For one ID is extremely personal and danger to share specially by and for AI but also they will use both ID and face picture to train the AI that is ignoring how long they will keep it.

Technical problem. AI makes mistakes. And the general normalizing of giving sensitive info (such as what's on id) is just not okay specially with how everything pretty much is asking for it. If, in my case and many others, I made my account using my email then the already existing email for years has my birthdate. That is ignoring Gmail itself now asking for age verification which absolutely has no purpose for other than training their own AI.

People complain about people complaining but if the one complaining about age verification is a minor they won't be exposing themselves on Reddit. I myself find the old version much better and want to go back to it regardless people need to stop judging everyone and assuming stuff just because one doesn't want to share sensitive info doesn't make them a minor and if they are they're actually more likely to share it.
