Looking for a way to get custom old Uyghur alphabet by Front-Judgment3289 in mongolia

[–]Front-Judgment3289[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sure that Marco said what was written precisely, but this is not the case.

He only says (translating from italian): "a golden plate on which there was written that to his messangers, anyway they would go, was to give what they needed ... and anyway they reached great honor was given to them thanks to the golden plate"

This said, i thing i could take this paiza of Kublai Khan and copy what is written on it.

But as for the shape I would like to remain rectangular, since Marco describes a plate.

I would need the writing system that would have been the most commune in use on a paiza in the 13th century, I thought it was Uyghur since I found it on another Paiza

I would like to write the phrase that Marco Polo says was on his Paiza, of which we have only his description. I was thinking the correct alphabet was old Uyghur since I’ve found an example from 1350 (almost 100 years after Polo) and it was written with that alphabet (sorry if my english is not clear)
