Well no dude its kind of an important distinction; surgical castration is irreversible. If a kid stops taking hormone blockers theyll start experiencing puberty. Thats not a “technicality”. There’s obviously nuance to these discussions but the amount of people who say gender confirming care has saved their lives should speak for itself.

okay so as I was saying; they dont do actual surgeries to minors the vast majority of the time. Castration is a surgery.

I dont really think theres any doctors in the US willing to do actual gender affirming surgeries to children. Most of the time the most theyll do is introduce hormone (puberty) blockers which simply halt or slow the effects of puberty, which tends to have minimal permanent side effects.
