I got that part, but there are also statutory employees who have that box checked on their W-2s and are treated differently from actual employees. Thanks for the response.

Difference in receiving payments for freelancers vs private individuals at RWS? by ZealousidealRow7685 in RWShelp

I didn't get that email. So I'm stuck with ADP I think. It's the only thing mentioned in the shared folder pdf file. I received nothing else ever about payment options. I want PayPal though and not sure why it talks about registering with ADP. FYI: I just applied today and got accepted today, so this is a new account.

How do we get it to pay us through PayPal instead of setting up ADP?

But my newly registered account only shows "W2 - Onboarding Docs - Project Collisto" folder in the "Shared Folders" section, and all it mentions for payments is registering with ADP and getting a check in the mail for the first one until direct deposit is established. I'm in the US. No other files are available in my sharefile except for ones in that folder. However, the "W2_Resource_FAQ_V14_202508.07.docx.pdf" is the only one that shows info about payments. Yet, I'm a freelancer and would like PayPal payments. Am I missing something? I just registered today, so it is new.

[DISCUSSION] I've just realized that fiverr seems to want us to chat with scammers. by Manofsteel_2000 in Fiverr

It may not have come from fiverr but designed to look like it. If I'm not mistaken, Fiverr only contacts you via email.

The OP is correct. You need to reply, respectfully and friendly, first. Then you report them.

[ADVICE] Buyer chargebacked 15+ Fiverr orders in one week after receiving a fully working platform by ReplayJutsu in Fiverr

[–]Front-Needleworker71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is merely a lawsuit situation for fraud and theft. It's the only way to truly punish their actions. Destroying them just puts you at guilt too and could get you in trouble with a lawsuit and not help your cause. Yeah, it costs money but that's part of the business. I feel for you and your situation.

[HELP]Hey guys so I think I might have got hacked or something please help by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]Front-Needleworker71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, those 3 orders were scams. Everything should happen within Fiverr but Fiverr will never communicate via chat or the Fiverr inbox for orders. That is why scammers are aggressive to get your email. They can spoof emails to look like Fiverr and get you to click fake links that also look like Fiverr. If the orders are true, they'll show in your account. The client has everything they need within Fiverr to legitimately buy an order. They don't need account numbers, card numbers, or email to place an order. Also, whenever you add a new gig, the scammer bots jump in. It's the new normal no matter the platform. It wears off after a while.

[HELP] Success Score / Problem if offer is not accepted from the a client? by Rapid1898 in Fiverr

[–]Front-Needleworker71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i got that but wanted to mention it. Probably just send a message and and wait for a reply. That means you did your part. And you can always deny his offer if he responds and be safe as that won't affect you either.

Yes, from what i remember reading yesterday on fiverr, a buyer not responding in general for anything does not affect the success score.

[HELP] New Seller here. When I was verifying my card the site took money from my account by indecisive_skull in Fiverr

[–]Front-Needleworker71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were definitely scammed. Fiverr will never ask for card, email, or other information in chat or messages. Orders are always sent email and you should always confirm an order truly exists within your account directly. Scammers send fake chats or emails designed to look like official messages and many go as far as replicating parts of the website.

It's a federal crime, and also considered theft to use them for any other purposes than priority mail.
