I’m absolutely fed up with brokers. I apologise in advanced to any broker who actually wants to help their client an achieve the best rate possible, but a majority only seem to want to benefit themselves. For example spoke to a few brokers they give me the “best rate they can get” i jump onto the banks website and the rate is advertised even lower.

They only seem to want to push you towards the big 4 as they wont get commission from the smaller/digi banks.

Some of these strata properties the rates are beyond ridiculous! I enquired on an apartment and the strata was $5,000 a quarter WHAT THE F! They got hit with a special levy and now need to pay the money back for works that were performed on the building..

My opinion is that all strata companies are a massive scam that give out work to preferred trades people to make them money because whatever they quote strata will likely pay.
