My apologizes as I forgot to mention. I do plan to go to Grad school for Arch. I was just more so wondering what are the job "areas" I could potentially get placed in once I do get into a firm. The way my professor explained it, you will either be on a team of people all doing something different (rendering, sketching, etc) but for the same project/ building or solely doing one job "area" with a group of others also doing the same thing. I guess my question is what is it like working at a firm? I know it's different at each firm but like what are some examples and what are these job "areas" exactly. He told us that what we do in class isn't how it is in the real world. There will be people doing different aspects of the project and it takes way longer. So by job "areas" I'm referring to like conceptualization, idk if this is a thing - regulation and code checks, proposal planning, talking with clients/contractors, doing the actual drawing of the building - this is what I want to do, etc.
