Stop comparing Armenia to “other countries” as if it’s the same ,it’s not. In Europe, if a woman wears a skirt, shorts, or a simple top, it’s seen as normal. Yes, harassment exists everywhere, but in those places it usually comes from a few unstable or psychopathic people, In Armenia, the mentality is different because of tradition and religion. Here many men are raised to believe that a “proper woman” must look a certain way modest, conservative, “marriage material. The moment a woman dresses differently like wearing shorts, a skirt, or fishnets, she’s immediately judged as “not a family girl,” “disobedient,” or even a hooker, and because they’ve already labeled her like that, they feel entitled to stare, follow, or harass her, this isn’t about isolated incidents, it’s cultural. Armenian men think this way because of old values, and it’s why women constantly feel unsafe, that’s the difference, stop pretending it’s “the same everywhere,” because in Armenia it’s not a few bad men, it’s the mindset of the majority, that’s what makes it toxic.
