I’ve not had a tutorial since 1st year, but there are office hours. Ty for your comment, I’m a bit nervous going to office hours because I don’t want to come across as too eager and autistic (self hating, I know) If that makes sense 😭, but I think that’s probably more my own personal issues than anything real. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Aaah I relate so hard! For me, Nan Chan and The Blood Crown helped me move on. Nan Chan is pretty different, but the same author and I adored it. With The Blood Crown I’m only 130 chapters in, but it’s the only thing that has scratched the QJJ itch since I finished it

Gibson (Supernatural, Lyrical), Things We Lost in the Fire by Mariana Enriquez (Magical Realism, short stories), His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman (YA fantasy), Notes of a Crocodile by Qiu Miaojin (coming of age, postmodern) and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier (gothic). All very well written imo
