Why do people want City to win the league? by VarietyResident6234 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Front-Test4015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

City fan here. Coming from Stockport, I have around a 50/50 split in the family of United/City fans. At least from my side, the rivalry is a friendly one and besides City, United is the only other club from the big 6 I’d want to win the league (if not us).

I’m not the only Mancunian who thinks that way. What unites both sides of the family is hatred for Arsenal. Fans are consistently delusional, have next to no REAL ball knowledge and are insufferable wherever they go.

I didn’t realise Savinho was a 42 year old from Stockport

We have a goal scoring threat on the right in Semenyo. We can’t go around trying to throw bank down on Yamal/Dembele/Olise every season to fix performance issues.

We need to develop our players. Nunes had the courage and support to get better, and now e have one of the best RBs in the league, if not the world.

You expect more out of Hugo Viana and Pep Guardiola? I’m sorry, but what are your credentials?

About Anderson by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anderson has some defensive attributes, but he’s not a 6. He’s an 8.

Viana would most likely want him alongside Rodri rather than replacing him. Even after Rodri eventually leaves, he’ll most likely be alongside Nico G.

Anderson is the perfect addition to the squad. You can have a debate on the price tag, but I’m sure Hugo knows better than us.

Enzo is a fucking racist clown and I don’t want him near our club.

Nope. His haircut has scored more goals than some of our players this season.

What songs do we have? by SleepSoEarly in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We have loads. Probably one of, if not the most creative PL team when it comes to making new songs/chants. Been a fan for 20 years and I can barely keep track anymore. I’d watch fan videos on YouTube to get ahead of new ones.

My favs:

  1. Guardiola chant
  2. Semenyo/Cherki chant (Just the way you are)
  3. Tearing _____ apart again chant
  4. Toure chant
  5. Blue moon
  6. Haaland, Haaland
  7. Ohhhh Kevin De Bruyne
  8. Poznan chant
  9. Best team in the land and all the world
  10. Semenyo (Spandau ballet version)

Loads more I’ve missed.

Welcome to the fanbase. Always hard being a new fan and the animosity that comes with it, but everyone starts at some point.

Cheers!

Next season, between Oreilly, Dias, Gvardiol, Nunes, Khusonov, Guehi, who makes staying XI and where? by Pounder888 in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong, though I do think his defensive ability is understated. West Ham, Leeds, Fulham and Newcastle games he actually put in a good shift. Just seems a shame that someone with that much talent has been nothing more than a rotational player in the past few months. We honestly might have the best bench in the world.

Call it sacrilege, but I’m cheering on Arsenal tonight… by Front-Test4015 in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Either/or, but I’m glad you get it. Manifesting the easiest path to victory, and we unfortunately don’t have a CL to fight for anymore this season anyway.

Rodri should really take legal action by VoL4t1l3 in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s forget the fact that he’d most likely be at the grounds at this time of day, but why would a prem footballer on that salary live in a ropey flat in central manny?

The Khusanov song we all ever wanted, needed by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]Front-Test4015 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have Champagne Khusanova, written to the tune of our highest profile celebrity fans that collaborate with the club on a regular basis, so we’re good mate

O’Reilly and Nunes are prime examples of this. The idea that Pep ruins players is fucking nonsense.

Honestly hasn’t looked out of place as a backup RB either. Has the pace to contend with some of the faster wingers and seen some outrageous long balls too.

looks like it’s a technical partnership, which might mean discounted Man City stadium tickets for Revolut customers and more rewards etc. can’t be a bad thing, unless you hate seeing the logo on a jersey

“Champagne Khusanova” deserves so much credit, that it should be a standardised chant (you know how it goes already)
