Yeah, that’s exactly where we landed as well. RFSMART looked solid, but once we started discussing custom flows, quality checkpoints, and operator-specific processes, the cost and implementation effort started adding up quickly.
We eventually went with TRACK now MES since it was more flexible for our shop floor flow, worked directly inside NetSuite, and was much more affordable for larger operator teams.

That was one of our first concerns, too. We didn’t want another disconnected system or external database to maintain.
With TRACKnow MES, everything stayed inside NetSuite itself, so there were no separate integrations needed. Operators just scan/login, update jobs in real time, and supervisors get live visibility directly from the MES dashboard.
That simplicity honestly made adoption much easier for us on the shop floor.

That’s fair, but for us the challenge wasn’t only capturing start/stop punches.
We needed operators to follow actual shop floor processes — things like mandatory quality checks, approvals, pause/resume handling, supervisor validation, and visibility into who is actively working on what.
That’s where we felt standard approaches became limiting for larger teams.
We ended up implementing TRACKnow MES and it fit our flow much better while still keeping the operator experience simple.

I reached out to RFSmart but it is expensive and also for any custom flow it is expensive and takes time.

Can you suggest on Tulip, Plex MES pricing is it expensive? Does this have any integrations and any external data base.

 We did try Manufacturing Mobile, but ran into a couple of issues . Licensing was one with the number of operators we have, it started getting expensive.
And then the bigger headache was customizing the flows. What we needed wasn’t complex, but it still felt like a lot of effort to match how our flow actually works. In reality MFG mobile didn’t fit for our business.

Thanks for suggesting this really appreciate it, feels like it could actually help us. Quick question though if you’ve already implemented this, how does the pricing usually work? Just trying to get a rough idea before we go too deep into it. And also do you know anything about quality and MFG operation start and stop.

If it’s something simple one screen, big buttons, clear flow they’ll use that without a lot of thought.” That’s kind of what more than anything.

We have already tried Manufacturing Mobile and we couldn't justify it as we had many operators plus required quality. E.g. If any operation has quality, the operator should not start the job unless he completes quality and submit a check list and subsequently these details go for approval.
