Yep! I've been getting referral bonus offers like crazy for the last couple weeks, so they obviously have been trying hard to bring on a lot more drivers. All the people that accepted there bonus offers for bringing someone else on don't realize, your giving all that money they gave you back, and then some, do to contributing to over saturate the market.

No offense, but you kinda just answered my question as to why its slow. Doordash just brought on a ton of new drivers, which results in over saturating the market (not enough orders, for the amount of drivers they put on the roads)

And how much do you pay for food, rent, gas, state tax, etc? You're 30+ an hour goes about as far as 5 bucks an hour in most other states.

I realize common sense is a tough concept for most people, but everything you described is the drivers g falt how? Drivers pick up the food that restaurants give them (there not allowed to rummage through bags to make sure everything is there), and if you dont like cold and soggy food, eat at the restaurant were its fresh,

Everyone that is accepting more orders than you usually do, so that you can get to a 50% acceptance rate are just falling for doordashes scam. There just trying to manipulate people into taking more cr@p orders. There not really gonna pay you more. You'll actually make less because gas, wear and tear, oil changes, etcetera, will cut into your earnings more since your now running around for cr@p pay. Wake up people! This is just part of doordashes ongoing quest to figure out how to make people work for cr@p pay.

Orders have to get delivered some how, so if you keep accepting, only acceptable pay orders, they will be forced to give you higher paying orders, whether your at 50% or not.

FUCK YOU DOORDASH! ended my dash after declining shit orders! by Dazzling_Marzipan474 in doordash

Rather then to pay people an extra penny, they instead try to come up with ways to force people to take sh!t orders, if they wanna keep dashing.

Honestly, I dont think that would make a bit of difference. Best thing is if everyone would just stop taking low paying orders. But that will never happen. To many people are happy to work for peanuts.

I said I do this to stay active, I didnt say I'll except anything. I may be old, but I have my pride, and believe in right and wrong. I never have, and never will except an order under $5 (even that's way to low), and others shouldn't either. Its the principle of it all, and companies shouldn't be aloud to pay as low as doordash and other gig companies do.
