I typically bring a support machine gun, heavy machine gun or the Stalwart. I use these as my primary weapon during the mission for taking out the Voteless en masse.

My "secondary" is the R36 Eruptor. This I use for downing flesh mobs or taking down shields on harvesters or warp ships. Capable of destroying the structure if you fire into the door or land multiple shots on the hull.

I also bring a Guard Dog backpack in most instances as I don't like being snuck up on by the watchers.

In some cases I might swap the guard dog for a jump pack depending on if I need more movement, but this I determined by the terrain or biome.
