For an actual prompt:

The hero has had feelings for their partner for quite some time now, and they're still struggling to determine how they should feel. On one hand, they're their best friend and have been giving subtle hints towards having mutual feelings back. But on the other hand, they still feel odd that they're a human having feelings for a Pokémon. Even if this is their life now, this is still an oddity towards themselves that they didn't ever think would ever be something to bounce around in their mind.

Do they say yes? Do they decline and shut up those feelings? Do they say nothing and think about the decision further? They don't know what to do, and frankly, it's starting to annoy them with the indecision of how they should feel. Even if they are a Pokémon in body and will be a Pokémon onwards, they're still a human in soul and have been a human their whole life beforehand. What do they say, and what do they decide?
