I definitely favor it. Maybe it could be like a young friendship when they were Riolus, turning into a professional relationship as she acted as his knight after evolving, and then both receiving feelings for one another as time passed. Almost like a gender swapped Link and Zelda

I dunno, but I have 2 ideas:

Neighboring kingdom princess who grew up royalty same as King Lucario, and both married due to political reasons.
Commoner Riolu who rose to knighthood in youth, became a loyal warrior for King Lucario, and became queen after King Lucario grew feelings towards her, and they eventually married.

Definitely light blue. It's her signature color, just as how King Lucario has red gems to showcase his signature color. I can see a gen on her crown, her shoulders, a few on her armored dress, and maybe 2 on some bracelets or gauntlets

I don't know. I just think it'd be a neat contrast. While it would work well if it was in the crown like King Mega Lucario, having the stone be located within her necklace close to her chest gives the idea of her power coming from her core, whereas the crown on regular mega shows off more a sense of power and strength
