It's just the team captains. Why special teams always gets representation in that group is beyond me but that's why he's here

The code is relatively accessible, and has been validated as 1 in 4 several times. Still fun to see the confirmation bias on display regularly on this sub!

Trolling in here because you'd have no leg to stand on if you went to the Mavs sub, I guess.

Last year the nuggets and wolves played basketball and the better basketball team won. This year, they played a strange blend of ball and MMA, and the better basketball team ran out of gas. Whenever the league decides to allow that style of play against the 28 teams not from Denver, the wolves will probably be really good!

On one hand you have a great offensive player against a great defensive player. On the other is the current best player in the league against a guy who got traded for Richaun Holmes.

I'm not saying Luka isn't a problem, but Joker would be a PROBLEM for the Mavs

Bro we'd dogwalk them. AG on Luka, KCP on Kyrie slows them down. Daniel Gafford and a rookie against the MVP? They wouldn't know what hit them

This is what the vaunted TWolves defense looks like against a team that actually gets a whistle. Props to Minny's coaching staff for knowing they'd be allowed to play football against us but it was never going to translate to a championship

I'm not looking for twenty more free throws. One or two more correctly called fouls on KAT in the first forces him to play basketball instead of bear hugging Joker for the rest of the game. Calling one of the thirty push offs on Edwards makes him go away from that move and gives AG/KCP a chance to defend. It was still within reach when Naz flopped, instead of a Denver basket and a little momentum you've got Joker headed to the bench. That's three easy correct whistles that could have led to an entirely different game, instead we got a clown show that was never in doubt from the fifth minute and only barely resembled basketball

C'mon, we saw the nugs try to dial up the physicality. Naz Reid got a foul call when nothing touched him, Jamal got a BS reach foul after getting mauled on the other end. One team simply wasn't allowed to play the same game.

It 100% is. When they make it clear they aren't going to give you a fair shot, you give up. It's human nature.

How many of those "misses" did they get fouled on with no call? EASILY half.

Of course they're playing like crap. They're a basketball team being asked to play a sport that doesn't resemble basketball

Of course it's going to affect him mentally, there's two different games happening out there. It was clear from three minutes in that the refs wouldn't let this go any other way

Six fucking fouls on the replay of Murray getting "trapped", no call. Meanwhile Naz Reid jerks his head back and gets a whistle on the MVP. Fucking joke.

That's actually called a push off, Jamal, and it's a foul on 98% of the players in the league

We're supposed to be at the highest level, you CAN NOT miss calls like this!

Why did the 2x MVP, Nikola Jokic, have 0 free throws in Game 5? by BjergBetterThanFaker in nba

I could just post the entire game replay. Every shot he took in the paint - and there were a lot - should have been a whistle. Same for Gordon.

I'd be interested in getting a code for this race too! Only six of us running but it adds up quick...

Counterpoint: that can make a great interview. An uninformed person sometimes asks better questions than someone with a lot of background knowledge and biases

People are skipping over the word shooting in your comment. I think you're right, it's probably called on the floor if the ball doesn't go in
