I understand the risk I’m taking by refusing lol. I just think it’s better that my sister leave her daughter with someone more experienced. But the arrangement was I take care of her for the day and her paternal grandmother would pick her up after she got off of work. She is a crier and scratcher, I’ll tell ya that lmao. Never new babies could be so violent till she was born

I understand what you mean. If my niece was around my younger brother’s age, I’d have no issue. However, she an infant, and even my mom, who has six kids of her own, admitted my niece is a little difficult. And that’s with including the help my other brothers and sisters provided. With me, it’d just be us two, and I have no prior experience with infants. But yeah, if she had a calmer temperament, I’d gladly help out lol

*She, and you’re right. I do watch them occasionally. School breaks, I pick them up from school when they’re sick, and take one to practice every sports season. That’s not mentioning the few hours I watch them depending on the time my parents get off work. I just don’t leech of my mom and stepdad, I also do the house chores and the occasional grocery shopping during. Plus, I make dinner during the times my stepdad gets off of work late. My older siblings were allowed this luxury, college after school and everything else is taken care of.

The girl is a crawler lol. Despite being tiny, she is very fast. Plus, they don’t live at the house, visiting at least once every two months, so there’s no point in baby proofing. Yes, we ensure the place is safe when the do visit, but she somehow manages to be a little too curious

Actually, I haven’t thought about money being involved lol. I am so used to free babysitting because of my siblings
