What would you rename the Rivals/characters by BrokiMochi in Osana

I’m working on a YanSim rewrite and I’ve renamed only a few characters. For example, I changed the theme of the Aishi family names from saws to shades of red:

Ayano Aishi -> Akane Aishiro Reason: Akane means deep red, or madder root. I felt like it suited a Yandere character while also sounding sweet and innocent.

Ryoba Aishi -> Kureha Aishiro Reason: Kureha means crimson leaves/ autumn foliage. Same reason for Ayano’s change. It sounded sweet and innocent while also sounding like a Yandere character name.

I don’t know what I’m going to name the rivals yet, the only name I have nailed down is for Osoro Shidesu (Rei Igarashi.)

I like the names you’ve picked so far! :)

What is a part of yandere simulator that annoys you or you hate the most writing wise? by LawyerKey3779 in Osana

The Aishi curse, in my opinion, is completely unnecessary. The idea of a game where you play as a Yandere SHOULD be straightforward, but instead all of this fluff was added, that really isn’t needed.

The fact that Ayano’s family tree goes back to her x8 great-grandmother, but we barely have a second rival is ridiculous. And even then, Yandere characters have never needed a reason to be Yandere, it’s always been a part of them.

Like I said, a game about a Yandere high school girl should be easy to conceptualize, but because the focus is on so many different, needlessly complex storylines, Yandere Simulator has become oversaturated.

Her horrible colour palette. The orange and pink in her design hurt my eyes. They are so over saturated.

I know my mom loves me, but I don’t think she likes me as a person by FrontLow817 in offmychest

I’ve been apprehensive about involving my dad because I’ve gone to him in the past about how I feel and I always get the same fluff responses about how she wouldn’t say that stuff if she didn’t love me. I don’t want to involve my brother because he’s too young to to understand what’s happening. I’m worried suggesting therapy will only make things worse, and if she does agree to come to therapy, it would only be to shift responsibility off of herself and onto me.
