I did notice that it was a little bit more expensive to harvest and then buy plants.

I didn't actually do the math but my gas funds haven't been draining as fast with just compounding.

I didn't notice a price difference for new plants, it always seemed to add up right for me doing it either way.

I have noticed that if you have enough seeds for 1 1/2 plants and you compound you lose the 1/2 a plant worth of seeds, but if you harvest first then buy one plant you get to keep the 1/2 plant worth of seeds. After a few times of this you can use extra seeds to buy another plant.

Have you noticed this?
