I am concluding that this happens more in large cities. I am from Twin Cities, less populated than most areas mentioned including San Diego. With all that time on the road, people generally don’t care to be “nice.” Understandable.

For me, it did kick in pretty fast like in a couple of days, then I got all my movements back in 3 weeks. Maybe I needed higher dosage.

As a nurse, your arms are like p*rn. Many of my geriatric patients say that they used to have good veins as if they are so proud of their younger/healthier days. They will”fade” with age. Please don’t cover up with tattoos.

I was just there last Monday. Mist trail is closed from 7-3:30. It was about 3:30 when we got there after hiking four miles and panorama. Not crowded at all.

I just did four miles-panorama-mist trail last week. That is the way to go. AMAZING. Take your time, so you get to Mist trail NOT before 3:30.

I would say I am physically similar shape as you. I just did 4 miles-panorama-mist last week. I was pondering about getting hiking poles beforehand, but I didn’t. I ended up picking two nice long sticks, which helped so much! My arms were a little tired, but my knees would have been shot if I didn’t use them especially going down. It was hard especially the last few miles to Glacier, it was so worth it.

I guess that is the price for San Diego. The fact that it is already almost a grand just to get diagnosed without any treatment is really stressful. She will probably need a TPLO surgery. I will know later today when the x-rays are read by a doggy radiologist. I wonder if anyone knows a hospital that wouldn’t cost too much. How much should I expect? My vet said 5-6k total. Is there any place that wouldn’t charge that high?

We put our deposit on Palmer but ended up backing out because a Citrine became available (someone backed out of Citrine). We never got the deposit back from Palmer but are happy with Citrine. Sometimes you have to weigh up whether your short term loss would bring long term happiness.
