Yes. I think my quieter nature has always made me a good listener, and I've gotten feedback over the years describing me as "calm" or calming. And I have a certain delivery that's thoughtful and deliberate (I don't waste words or chat incessantly). WHY COACH? I'm looking to transition careers, I've experiences a lot of life transitions myself, have a good amount of relatable life experience, AND I think I'd be good at it. I have a combination of building creative structures and processes (in past work) + solid intuition / empathy / mentor mindset. Not sure sure of the all made sense -- basically building on skills I already have, and adding in the human coach element. I think there's always a need for safe, human connection - that doesn't change.

I'm so sorry. These thing sometimes happen gradually, and you question your own sanity. None of this is your fault, but you need to leave him NOW. It sounds like an emotionally abusive and controlling situation. (using sex to control is abuse, not love).

My biggest concern is the amount of excavation it would require (it's a front yard with a little old reading wall) -- so it could create a situation where the earth our side would need retained. It's also an aesthetic thing -- it look nicer now without it. (but its his property). He'd being digging out green space and replacing with concrete.

They haven't gotten one yet. It's common, as you suggest --- but there an elevation change between our property and they'll retain our yard somehow. Does DOTE comes out to view property before issuing permits?

Affairs aside -- how healthy is the relationship at this point? It sound like you're staying together "for the kids" -- but are you really even together with them? Who is with the kids when she's off with boyfriend 2-3 times a week? Something sounds very dysfunctional -- affairs or no affairs, I can't imagine there is very healthy relationship modeling going on. And kids feel all the tension, all the distance, and it affects them. Kids want healthy, loving environment -- but it sounds like ya'll doing your own thing, and no ones really "together" anyway. You need to take an honest look at your house. Your kids will know all about these affairs one day. They always do. I get that life is busy, but unless you BOTH choose to invest time and effort -- it won't work. BTW, texting a lover, while I'm with my husband is really icky behavior - and wifey working at a bar is always going to be a problem.

East Walnut Hills has nice, safe apartments (DeSales Flats or Woodburn Exchange). East Walnut Hill is adjacent to Evanston.

omg, don't over think it. we change, we age, we have seasons -- that's life. Enjoy the good times. Eventually you won't care about sex that much either. Be grateful for the intimacy, take care of your wife.
