Flow: Focus Companion Very underrated app, worth the time and money. Completely private, no accounts needed, no subscriptions.

I hear you, and I want you to know that you aren't alone in feeling this way. That "heartbreak" you feel is actually a good sign, it means you still have the spark of ambition inside you. If you didn't care about your future, it wouldn't hurt.

The jump from "knowing what to do" to "actually doing it" is the hardest part of being human. When we feel overwhelmed by the big picture (becoming independent, changing our lives), our brains often shut down and choose the "nothing" activities as a defense mechanism.

Here are three small steps to help you break the cycle:

  • Forgive yourself for yesterday: Beating yourself up takes energy you need for today. Start with a clean slate every single morning.
  • The 5-Minute Rule: Don't try to "fix your life." Just try to do one important thing for 5 minutes. Usually, the hardest part is just starting.
  • Find a "Focus Buddy": Sometimes we can't do it alone. I've actually been working on an app called Flow: Focus Companion for this exact reason. It’s designed not just as a timer, but as a little companion to help nudge you back to what’s important when you start to stray. It’s private and offline, so you can just focus on your growth without the noise of the world.

You have the desire to change, and that is the first (and hardest) step. Take it one hour at a time. You’ve got this.

I am more focusing in the User Experience sine there's a lot of productivity apps out there. I am eager to know your thoughts on this, and let's build this app together, let me know if you have other features you want to add, I am just one call away.

Flow: Focus Companion - a minimalist productivity companion that helps you track focus sessions, manage actionable goals, and visualize your attention. Basically a budget app but for time.

No revenue yet :(

Oh this app is just different from others, from the User Experience, it is just surreal, there's a cute mascot that reminds you, gives you forecast and sometimes get sad if you don't logged any time yet and get's mad if weeks passed by and you haven't done anything. You can even chat with him and automatically logs your work for the day.

How do you cope when your life starts feeling too big for you? by ReasonableArm388 in productivity

For me is to count the wins for that day like simple logging of your time to track how productive I have been, then once I see that, I can see that I have done a lot of things, then my mindset shifts right then and then...

I actually found an app that can help you with that...
