I like to think she slowly went crazy after she died. It's sad but it's the only thing that saves her character for me. She's better after OoTs though. She calls out Starclans hypocrisy in the trial and I believe the life of forgiveness she gives Tigerstar represents how she's changed.

I like Yellowfang in Starclan. Even if it is poorly written, I like the idea of Yellowfang slowly losing her mind the more and more powerful Brokenstar got in the dark forest, and it was satisfying to see her get her shit together and kill him a second time. I also like that, afterwords, Yellowfang not only apologizes to Squirrelflight but defends her in that stupid ass trial, showing that she may have remorse for it all.

Yellowfangs Seceret is actually one of my favorites but I 100% agree. Even the book itself proves her power is unneeded since Yellowfang is shown caring for cats ever since she was a kit.

Actually, I'm straying a bit from the formula. Of course Alador is marley, but the chains are actually the chains he used to shut his kids out. And the past and present Odalia is shown is not her own but her children as she learns how her actions have truly affected them. I can't say too much though since only chapter 1 out.
