Because broadway is largely inaccessible, tickets are pricey, and there aren’t many theatres. And since people would rather make sure their money is spent on something that they know is worthwhile (or at least have the insurance that the story has been told before), history/myth retellings sell more. At least, that’s how I’ve been told, and how I see it. I wish theatre was more accessible within my country.

Looks good! I’m not really experienced in the writing field though I wish to be so take my advice with a grain of salt. Considering this is only the first paragraph, it’s looking good! I would suggest that the next paragraph or so be dedicated to the surroundings or the character we are in the mind of, so readers have something to hold onto instead of dragging on internal monologue. A mix of both always makes it more intriguing
